Early Intervention Educator – Along with other core team members, the Early Intervention educator screens, evaluates, and provides ongoing assessment. Aids in developing an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) for each child and provides direct services to children eligible for early intervention with delays in the areas of physical, cognitive, communication, social, and adaptive development. Instructs parents and caregivers by modeling appropriate strategies while focusing on the IFSP outcomes within the confines of the family routines. Problem solves and discusses the progress and challenges of each child, and prepares a transition/discharge plan when appropriate.

Nurse Educator - The Nurse Educator is responsible for designing, teaching, and evaluating and executing educational programs for all levels of professional, technical, and ancillary staff in a variety of clinical areas and hospital departments consistent with the hospital's mission, vision, philosophy, and core values. Programs include the orientation of new employees, in-service education relevant to the hospital environment, and continuing education offerings which are expected to maintain and/improve competency and work performance.

EMT Educator - The EMT Educator is responsible for supporting, coordinating, and conducting Emergency Medical Technician initial, renewal and continuing education classes that meet N.J.A.C. 8:40A guidelines. The EMT educator will support classes that are held at any of the RWJBarnabas Health Campuses or RWJBarnabas Health sponsored offsite locations that are scheduled by the department. The EMT educator will provide oversight to assure that the program content and instructional program complies with the standards and guidelines set forth in the program curriculum. The EMT Educator will report directly to the EMT Program Manager. The EMT Educator models the expected behaviors and engages staff with professionalism, courtesy and respect and supports the daily operations of education programs within the Training Center.

Instructor, Burn Educators - As a Fire Safety Instructor, who establishes an education plan including goals, objectives and teaching methods. Provide prevention and fire safety, implements a burn education plan with programs involving educational settings, community settings, corporate settings, clinical healthcare, fire services and public relations. Including operation of a mobile Fire Safety House trailer classroom.

Lactation Consultant - The Lactation Consultant provides breastfeeding education and support to parents of infants. Acts as a consultant to parents on postpartum. Conducts follow up with parents as needed. Participates in the education of nursing staff as it relates to breastfeeding. Develops policies and standards of care based upon evidenced base practice and current research. Reviews and maintains current all educational materials distributed to parents regarding breastfeeding. Participates in consortium and community related breastfeeding activities. Maintains regulatory compliance as appropriate. Maintains logs and prepares monthly reports as requested.

Paramedic Program Educator - The Paramedic Educator facilitates various responsibilities within the Paramedic Program, including but not limited to delivering classroom lectures, participating in classroom activities, clinical activities, equipment maintenance, and maintaining compliance with student records and skill sessions throughout the RWJBarnabas Health System and program. The Paramedic Educator will report directly to the Paramedic Program Manager. The Paramedic Educator models the expected behaviors, engages staff with professionalism, courtesy, and respect, and supervises the daily operations of education programs within the Training Center.
