Administrative Director Perioperative Support Services

Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Administrative Director of Perioperative Services for RWJ Somerset Medical Center.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Master s preferred
• Current New Jersey RN Licensure
• BLS required. (American Heart Association)
• Previous leadership experience in an acute care perioperative setting is required.
• Acute care or clinical, leadership experience is preferred.
• National Certification for perioperative specialty preferred.

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full Time 40 hours per week

Essential Functions:

• Staff includes RN's, CNA's & Unit Secretaries.
• Administrative Director areas of responsibility will be Pre-Admission Testing, Same Day Surgery, Operating Room, PACU and Central Sterile Processing.
• The Administrative Director is responsible for operations of assigned units, including safety, regulatory compliance, quality, service and financial outcomes associated with the assigned units.
• An integral part of the Nursing Leadership Team at RWJ Somerset
• Responsibility for multiple teams who support daily essential patient care
• This individual is responsible to have 24/7 responsibility, recruit and manage multiple teams and improve quality and customer satisfaction,
