Job Overview:

The Lead APP for neurosurgery is responsible for clinical leadership, operational management and professional development of APPs within the neurosurgery dept.

Job Requirements:

• Masters prepared in Nursing from an accredited program
• Advanced Practice Nurse License via the New Jersey State Board of Nursing
• Maintain National Certification AANP or ANCC
• Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of New Jersey
• CDS and DEA license
• BLS and ACLS.

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full time
• 40 Hours
• Days

Essential Functions:

• This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care while optimizing APP workflows,
• Monitors APPs productivity and workload distribution
• promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and driving quality improvement initiatives .
• APP Supervision, oversees recruitment, onboarding, training and mentorship of new APPs .
• Conducts performance evaluations, provides feedback and facilitates professional growth .
• Operational Workflow, collaborate with neurosurgeons and hospital leadership to optimize scheduling, coverage and workload distribution
• Quality Improvement and Research
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety
