Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Long Term Care

Job Overview:

Brother Bonaventure Extended Care & Rehabilitation Center, affiliated with Trinitas Regional Medical Center, is a 124-bed skilled nursing facility committed to providing continuous care and support for long-term and sub-acute patients. Our licensed facility offers comprehensive services, including 24-hour nursing care, access to hospital support services, therapies, social services, and recreational activities, aimed at promoting independence and enhancing residents quality of life. Scheduling Requirements:

• Day Shift, 24 Hours per week [7:00AM 3:30PM]
• Monday Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• AHA BLS prior to start date required
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from NJ Department of Health required
• Valid Nurse Aide in Long Term Care Certificate and registration in good standing with the New Jersey Nurse Aide Registry required
• Previous experience in Long Term Care is preferred

Essential Functions:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). The CNA will provide basic care to patients including assisting with feeding, bathing, transferring, positioning, ambulation, and other duties associated with the patient s needs. Because of the personal nature of this role, Certified Nursing Assistants should be compassionate and enjoy helping others.
