Job Overview:
The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for performance improvement activities including chart reviews, statistical analysis, and assigned studies. Reports results to Department Leadership, appropriate committees and PI Dashboards. Assesses effectiveness of therapy and reports on device and interface selection, application, operational verification, modes of therapy, and all adverse reactions or side effects. Leads educational programs for respiratory, nursing, and medical staff as requested. Develops programs specific to orienting new staff members and other assigned areas of responsibility, Fulfills the role of staff and charge therapist as needed. |

Qualifications:
Required:
- Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Care with a minimum of an Bachelor degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent required,
- Certifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care required,
- New Jersey license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner required,
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist required,

- A physical condition is required that permits reaching and mobility around the entire institution,

- Works with the and Director of Respiratory Care in the departmental planning and problem-solving processes
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with Nursing Education and Medical Staff Education,
- Provide educational support to other disciplines on Respiratory Care topics such as Nursing Orientation and new Resident orientation
- Fulfill the role of staff therapist or charge therapist,
- Provide coverage for other Respiratory Care Practitioners as necessary

- Adheres to Safety and Infection Control policies
- Attends mandatory in-services
- Helps maintain a safe and clean patient/work environment
