Job Overview:

Experienced Health Care Data Analyst. In this position you will gather and facilitate the coordination of patient data with regards to clinical outcomes pertaining to open heart surgery, Submits data to outside regulatory agencies and National databases.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the State of New Jersey,
  • Health Care Experience required
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing,
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred,
  • At least 2 years clinical experience in Open Heart Surgery,

Essential Functions:

  • Analyzes data and recommends performance improvement
  • Analyzes data and recommends performance improvement activities,
  • Assists in compiling statistical data for regulatory
  • Assists in compiling statistical data for regulatory agencies
  • Develops strategies in conjunction with the department chair and Vice
  • Develops strategies in conjunction with the department chair and Vice President to disseminate the data as deemed appropriate
  • Ensures accuracy and validity of all data elements entered into CAOS, STS
  • Ensures accuracy and validity of all data elements entered into CAOS, STS and department of health databases,
  • Maintains CAOS database and communicates to the Vice President any
  • Maintains CAOS database and communicates to the Vice President any software/hardware issues in a timely manner
  • Meets all data submission dead
  • Meets all data submission dead lines,
  • Participates in Mortality and Morbidity review
  • Participates in Mortality and Morbidity review process
