Job Overview:

In this key role, the Receptionist performs a variety of scheduling and reception functions for all imaging procedures, including telephone interactions with physicians, patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Must possess customer service skills
  • Able to handle heavy call volumes
  • Detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks

Preferred:

  • Medical terminology/radiology

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Days
  • Monday to Friday
  • Flexibility with scheduled hours, if needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Must be flexible to work in various department locations within CMMC as needed.
  • Telephone interactions with physicians, patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Communicate with patients and physicians to schedule radiology exams.
  • Greet patients and process admitting documentation.
  • Importing CDs of patient s prior exams.
