Job Overview:

The Research Coordinator provides administrative support to the Director of Research and Research Associate. The Research Coordinator is responsible for assisting with administrative efforts associated with project management, research and development, and grants management.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong planning, organization, and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, anticipate needs, and be proactive
  • Ability to prioritize among tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development and training, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias
  • Commitment to the mission of the Institute for Prevention and Recovery

Preferred:

  • Bachelor s Degree

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Working Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM
  • Day Shift
  • Full-Time, 40 Hours Per Week

Essential Functions:

  • Assists Assistant Director of Research, Development, and Project Management and Senior Project Manager in carrying out administrative and program-related duties
  • Researches and identifies funding opportunities
  • Works with Institutional Review Boards IRBs to approve human subjects research conducted by IFPR
  • Prepares and submits manuscripts, presentations, and scientific posters
  • Prepares documentation for projects and grants as needed
  • Ensures all documentation is delivered by specified deadlines
  • Creates documents and reports to fulfill project needs
  • Acts as a liaison for interdepartmental communication
  • Relays internal emails to staff relevant to current or future projects
  • Corresponds with upper management regarding the goals and objectives of programs
  • Carries out administrative tasks as required to facilitate an efficient working environment
  • Performing other duties as assigned
