Job Overview:

CRSC is located in Morganville/Marlboro NJ. Responsibility for the safety and well being of patients, employees, physicians, visitors and Medical Center property. These responsibilities include continuous surveillance, reporting and documenting all incidents and remaining sensitive to the need for deliver of quality guest services and assistance to all persons visiting the Medical Center, Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments, damaged floors, walls, ceiling tiles, unsecured areas, and medical errors, etc

Qualifications:

Required:

  • At least one year of college preferred,
  • High school diploma or equivalent,
  • 3-12 months experience as a Security Officer or Law Enforcement experience desired
  • Must possess and maintain a valid NJ State Drivers License - Loss of such will result in immediate termination of employment,

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • NJ Drivers License

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Full-Time
  • Nights

Essential Functions:

  • Abides by all Medical Center Code of Conduct regulations and apartment procedures and policies, including parking regulations,
  • Always keeps Security guards,security personnel informed of all matters pertinent to safety and security conditions,
  • Assists in application of physical restraints,
  • Competent in aspects of Best Training and responsibilities as assigned,
  • Completes and submits a daily activity log at completion of tour of duty,
  • Conducts preliminary and,or detailed investigations of all unusual occurrences falling under the realm of security matters,
  • Controls visitor access to patient units, checks and patrols nursing units during visiting hours to enforce visiting and no smoking regulations,
  • Controls all vendor access
  • Expedites and ensures safe flow of traffic through the Medical Center parking lots,
  • Inspects all packages leaving the Medical Center when necessary,
  • Maintains all departmental security equipment in good operating condition and reports any damage immediately to supervisor,
  • Maintains and controls access to all facilities owned or operated by the Medical Center
  • Makes continuous inspections of outer buildings, grounds and parking lots,
  • Makes continuous patrols throughout the Medical Center to observe and take corrective action regarding violations and detrimental conditions related to security and safety of patients, visitors, employees and property,
  • Prepares and submits computerized security incident reports before end of shift,
  • Provides escorts to employee and visitor vehicles as requested within jurisdiction,
  • Provides information and assistance in a courteous manner to those requesting same,
  • Reports for duty in clean and complete Medical Center issued uniform, including photo identification badge,
  • Responds to calls for security assistance by any person within the Medical Center and takes proper action, including response toa Code Red, Code Black, Code Pink, Code White, Code strong,
