Social Worker MSW - FT - Long Branch, NJ

Job Overview:

The Social Worker provides psychotherapy services for mental health services. Keeps records and statistics relevant to psychological treatment. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Master's degree in Social Work
• LCSW
• Previous psychotherapy experience

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full-Time
• 40 hours per week
• Day shift, may require some evening hours as well

Essential Functions:

• Conduct assessments, participate in treatment planning, discharge planning, and authorizations for care
• Develop and maintain working relationships with referrals sources; facilitate clinical staff meetings, case consultations, and others reviews. . Assist with coordination for services to best meet client need
• Participate in program development with OPBH leadership including QA and PI projects
• Prepares and maintains statistical reports and records as required by regulatory, organizational and official agencies
• Provide group and individual therapy
• Provides Program oversite for clinical activities, ensures adequate coverage, and works in collaboration with OPBH leadership
• Supervises social work students as assigned
