Essential Functions:

• Direct Services and Case Management

Provide trauma-informed case management services to domestic violence victims and their children at The Safe House

Handle assigned cases from admit to discharge, based on shelter guidelines and in accordance with the policies and procedures

• Case Management Supervisor

• Assign incoming cases as needed
• Schedule and conduct regular meetings/supervision with Case Managers to ensure that shelter policies and procedures are followed
• Review and ensure that Case Manager binders are organized and filed
• correctly, including purple folder forms, (review) case notes, employment verification and copies of legal documents, ID s, etc.
• Train new case managers on protocols and procedures specific to The Safe House protocols, policies and procedures
• Ensure that food distribution process is adhered to for hotel clients, from preparing meals to collecting containers, and distribution

• Hotline

Answer incoming calls and provide information, admit to shelter and make referrals to other agencies as needed.

Responsible for assisting with hotline calls overseeing the coordination of hotline assessments and outcomes

• Facilities

Ensure that room checks are completed regularly

Ensure that the exit process is adhered to by staff (including discharge paperwork completion, collection of linens, provision of household items, as needed

Ensure that house meetings are conducted as needed

• Administrative

Maintain accurate and confidential records, particularly client files

Participate in weekly supervision with the Shelter Coordinator to monitor workflow and discuss procedures, concerns, cases

Reports monthly statistics on all activities

Participate in case management meetings as appropriate

Other duties as assigned by Shelter Coordinator, Clinical Director or Director of The Safe House
